Metal retailer wants arbitration ruling enforced

Metal Supermarkets Corp., a retailer specializing in a high volume of small orders which successfully won an arbitration ruling that allows it to collect royalties from a franchisee of one of its chain of stores, is asking a U.S. District Court judge to enforce the arbitrator's ruling.
Based in Brampton, Ontario, but licensed to conduct business in Michigan and other states, Metal Supermarkets filed a motion Tuesday in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan asking the court to enforce an October 2009 judgment handed down by the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, a division of the American Arbitration....
