Spot iron ore prices soar to $142/T on steel pickup

Spot iron ore prices again topped $140 per tonne c.f.r. China on Friday as steelmakers resumed buying, encouraged by an upturn in steel tags.
Prices for 63.5-percent iron Indian fines hit $141 to $142 per tonne c.f.r. as transaction volumes rose, up from $137 to $138.50 c.f.r. a week earlier. Offers also rose to $145 c.f.r.....
