A congresswoman is calling for Illinois locks connected to the Great Lakes to remain open despite the threat from Asian carp.

Days before the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is expected to make its recommendations for new measures to prevent Asian carp from entering Lake Michigan, Rep.
