Heartland ready to fill ‘hole’ in central Ohio: exec

Heartland Inc., which recently acquired 37 acres in Washington Court House, Ohio, expects to open a new structural steel service center as soon as May, according to Randy Frevert, president of the new venture.
"Our building, with cranes, will be up and going in the beginning or middle of May. Initially, we'll employ about 20 people, including sales staff, office staff and truckers," he said Thursday.
The new facility will begin operations with about 5,000 tons of steel on the ground, Frevert said, estimating that "with inventory, the building project will cost between $5.5 million and $6 million to get going."....
