China steel industry strategy under review

The Chinese central government will review its steel industry policy launched in 2005 in an effort to support the sector during the economic crisis.
Public opinion is being sought on how to amend and improve the policy to adapt it "to continuous development in local and global macro-economy and the steel industry," China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said in a statement on its Web site, setting an April 15 deadline for responses to be submitted.....
