Recovery in Chinese shipbuilding sector expected by 2010

China's shipbuilding industry is expected to recover by the end of this year or next with help from government measures, a Chinese expert said recently.

"Domestic shipmakers are mostly working on orders signed previously, and it's still hard to predict if the number of new orders is going to rebound from current weakness in the second half,"....
