Aluminum output gains in June, more said on way

China's primary aluminum output rose an estimated 10 percent in June from the previous month and is expected to rise further in July, according to a China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNMIA) official.
"Output was probably at around 1.08 million tonnes in June, up 100,000 tonnes from the previous month, and we believe the figure will go up even more in July as smelters continue to restart idled capacity," Lang Dazhan, CNMIA's aluminum department deputy director, said at ChinaCCM's 4th Alumina Market Forum in Xiamen.....
