Chinese plate export pricing holds steady

Chinese plate exporters have held the line on their latest offers despite a decline in domestic spot market prices, according to mill and trader sources.
Plate for export continued to be quoted at $600 to $610 per tonne f.o.b., the same level as last week, although transaction prices in the domestic market fell to 4,050 yuan ($592) per tonne in the Shanghai spot market, down around 5.3 percent from 4,250 to 4,300 yuan last week.....
