Vermont recycler vows fight as renewal of license denied

A Vermont metals recycler is pledging to continue its fight to stay operational after being denied a renewal of its operating license from the local municipality.
Milton-based ABC Metals & Recycling has been in business on Shirley Avenue since 1970 and has operated a scrapyard on the five-acre site since 1955. "We were grandfathered in. They cannot shut us down and we are taking it to the Supreme Court," owner Gil Rhoades said. "This is the fourth time they have tried to shut us down."....
