Because I have always respected Michelle Applebaum's views, I welcomed her comment (AMM, Oct. 14) on my "Buy American" remarks (AMM, Oct. 5). I was disappointed, however, that right off the start she allowed her logic to jump the tracks by introducing trade law issues into the "Buy American" debate.
