Climate legislation seen increasing US jobs

A new report claims that climate legislation and a clean energy policy will actually increase U.S. jobs by 2020 and save American households nearly $1,200 per year.

The report is in contrast to a recent study by the Economic Policy Institute that suggested 4 million jobs could be at risk unless Congress includes safeguards to help manufacturers deal with stricter standards and prevent carbon leakage (AMM, Oct. 6).....
