Ryan tries to relight China currency fire

Rep. Tim Ryan (D., Ohio), a key player in previous attempts to get Congress to crack down on alleged Chinese currency manipulation, is trying to rekindle the once-hot issue, possibly before the end of this year.

Ryan, a leading sponsor of the Ryan-Murphy currency legislation and other similar efforts in past years, has sent a letter to House colleagues expressing his extreme disappointment over the recent Treasury Department decision to again refuse to label China as a currency manipulator in its semi-annual review of the issue required by law.....
