Let it snow
Melting Pot doesn't remember CME Group Inc. ever putting together a splashy press release to announce their hot-rolled coil steel futures contract. But what do traders care about steel? They've got more important markets to tinker with—like the recently announced CME snowfall contracts. You heard that right—"contracts," plural. Steel may get just one contract, and one that the Chicago-based CME practically forgot to mention it had launched. But snow gets not one, not two, but four new contracts and a press release blasted out to much of the business journalism....
