Steel shipments value up 4.9% in September, Census says

U.S. iron and steel mill shipments valued at $5.61 billion in September were up 4.9 percent from $5.35 billion the previous month following a 2.3-percent increase from July to August, according to a U.S. Census Bureau report released Tuesday, although down 48.3 percent from the same month last year on a non-seasonally adjusted basis.....
