PSC returns to black with $1M profit in third quarter

The scrapyard chain PSC Metals Inc. was profitable in the third quarter following two quarters of losses during the slowdown, according to the quarterly financial results filed by parent Icahn Enterprises LP.
The company's income from continuing operations before interest, income taxes and other income stood at $1 million during the latest quarter, down sharply from a year-earlier $32 million but an improvement....
