Wise’s Bobby David gears up to venture out on own

Bobby David, who helped reposition a family-owned scrap and brokerage business into a major producer of aluminum can sheet, is retiring from Wise Metals Group LLC at age 66.
David will step down as senior vice president, in charge of buying scrap for the Alabama sheet facility, in December. He will remain a minority shareholder in Linthicum Heights, Md.-based Wise, and expects to consult for the company, as well as for scrapyards and do some metals brokerage work.....
