Nickel scrap exports revive from slow summer

U.S. exports of nickel scrap recovered in August after spending three months below the 1,000-short-ton mark.
Shipments of the high-temperature alloy increased to 1,138 tons in August, according to the latest figures from the U.S. Commerce Department. That's almost triple the meager 416 tons exported by U.S. suppliers in July. Offshore sales hadn't been much better the two prior months, totaling 727 tons in June and 604 tons in May.....
