HudBay’s Jones set to retire, operations chief steps down

HudBay Minerals Inc. has announced that Peter Jones, chief executive officer, will retire at year-end.
The Toronto-based company also said that Michael D. Winship, president and chief operating officer, has resigned, effective immediately, to pursue opportunities outside the company.
Jones' departure continues the company's recent trend of executive shake-ups. Jones had previously been HudBay's chief executive from 2004 until early 2008 when he was ousted by a rival board faction led by chairman Allen Palmiere, who took the top executive role.....
