Lawsuit against Mass. recycler Allied alleges water pollution

A non-profit group has filed a Clean Water Act lawsuit against a Massachusetts recycler over the discharge of stormwater runoff.
Clean Water Action filed the complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts against Allied Recycling Center Inc., Walpole, Mass., indicating that "neither the EPA (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) nor the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has commenced or is diligently prosecuting a court action to redress the violations alleged."
The group, which claims to have 750,000 members of which 50,000 reside in the state, indicated that it informed the recycler in June of its intent to sue to over the matter. This letter was filed in the court documents.....
