Canadian Zinc, pressing forward with Prairie Creek, posts bigger loss

Canadian Zinc Corp. posted a higher net loss in the third quarter as work continued on its Prairie Creek zinc-lead-silver mine in Canada's Northwest Territories.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company posted a net loss of more than Canadian $2.4 million ($2.3 million) for the three months ended Sept. 30, 44.5 percent higher than a net loss of nearly C$1.7 million in the same period last year. It....
