ISA posts record quarterly earnings, sales

Industrial Services of America Inc. (ISA) posted its highest-ever earnings and revenue during the third quarter, which it attributed to its newly acquired stainless steel scrap unit and a new shredder.

The Louisville, Ky.-based scrap processor and waste consultant generated net income of $2.2 million for the three months ended Sept. 30, up 68.8 percent from $1.3 million in the same period last year, on revenue that nearly tripled to $80 million from $28.9 million.....
