High-carbon ferromanganese tags up

U.S. manganese prices have firmed slightly this week despite business slowing down for the holiday-shortened week, market participants told AMM.
Spot prices for high-carbon ferromanganese range from $1,400 to $1,450 per tonne, up from $1,380 to $1,430 last week, while medium-carbon ferromanganese is unchanged at $1.02 to $1.08 per pound. U.S. silicomanganese prices are between 65 and 68 cents per pound, up from 63 to 66 cents last week.....
