Saft raises $180M for U.S. lithium-ion projects

Battery maker Saft Groupe SA has raised almost €120 million ($179.9 million) to help finance two lithium-ion projects in the United States.

The French company raised the money through a rights issue on Euronext Paris of 5.7 million new shares. The new shares will be settled....
