Caster acquires foundry, divests division

Citation Corp. has acquired Blackhawk Foundry & Machining Co. and sold off its Albion, Ind., facility to Busche Machine. The terms of the separate agreements were not disclosed.
"Our focus continues to be on further strengthening our diversification strategy," Doug Grimm, president and chief executive officer of the Novi, Mich.-based caster of iron automotive and industrial components, said in a statement. "The Blackhawk acquisition further enhances our market diversification while the sale of our Albion facility allows us to concentrate on our core iron....
