US unit of Italian recycling equipment maker Colmar files for Ch. 11

Colmar USA Inc., part of Italian recycling equipment maker Colmar SpA, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection from creditors.
The offshoot, based in Wheatfield, N.Y., disclosed the action to litigants in a New Jersey case. The actual bankruptcy filing occurred in November without any public announcement. The list of major creditors includes no scrapyards, since buyers of a company's merchandise are more likely to owe a vendor money than hold IOUs.....
