Canada's First Quantum Minerals has agreed to buy the Ravensthorpe nickel operations from BHP Billiton for $340 million.
The acquisition "is a major step towards First Quantum achieving its goal of becoming a diversified mining company," Philip Pascall, First Quantum's chairman....
