Great Lakes iron ore shipments hit 2009 high in November

Iron ore shipments on the Great Lakes last month reached their highest level so far this year, prompting mothballed ships to be called back into service.
More than 4.6 million net tons of iron ore were shipped on the Great Lakes in November, up 27 percent from just shy of 3.7 million tons the previous month, according to the latest data from the Lake Carriers' Association.....
