Eramet is looking to boost recycling with buy of Valdi

Eramet Group is buying French recycler AFE Valdi in a move aimed at developing its nonferrous metal and battery recycling activities.
The terms of the deal with AFE Group, which is subject to regulatory clearance, were not disclosed. Valdi, which processes and recycles nonferrous metals, had turnover of €25 million ($36.5 million) in 2008.
"Recycling is a major growth avenue for the group and enables us to strengthen our sustainable development-related activities.
