Code inspector accused in car shredding scheme

An Indianapolis code enforcement inspector has been accused of illegally having vehicles towed, crushed and delivered to a scrapyard instead of to an auto pound.

In addition to facing theft charges, Chad Frye, who was hired in April, has been charged with corrupt business practices and official misconduct.....
