Bankruptcy court judge OKs sale of Grede Foundries plants to Wayzata

A bankruptcy court judge has approved the sale of Grede Foundries Inc.'s principal operating plants to an affiliate of Wayzata Investment Partners LLC.

The deal, approved in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, includes Grede's corporate headquarters in Milwaukee and foundries in Wauwatosa and Reedsburg, Wis.; St. Cloud, Minn.; Wichita, Kan.; New Castle, Ind.; and Iron Mountain/Kingsford, Mich.....
