Vermont cracking down on salvage yards

A Vermont agency is asking residents to assist in identifying unlicensed salvage yards in the state as it believes more than half of such sites are operating illegally.
The state Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) "needs to identify these unlicensed salvage yards and educate them so they can come into compliance with state and local laws," it said on its Web site.....
