Hike in China's steel export tax seen unlikely

Contrary to recent European market speculation, most Chinese steel exporters say it is unlikely that China’s government will raise steel export taxes soon.
"I haven't heard of such a rumor recently and I doubt Beijing will choose such a time to make the adjustments when it seems happy with the gradual slowdown in steel exports," a Beijing-based steel analyst said.....
