PMA urging passage of R&D tax credit

The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA), Washington, has applauded the Senate's passage of legislation to extend the research and development (R&D) tax credit through 2009, and has called on the House of Representatives to throw its support behind the measure.
"The Senate has proven its commitment to maintaining a robust manufacturing sector in the U.S. by passing and strengthening the R&D tax credit, and now it's time for the House to approve this crucial measure," PMA president William E. Gaskin said in a statement.....
