Schnitzer taps Lundgren new president, chief

Tamara L. Lundgren will take the helm of Schnitzer Steel Industries Inc. on Dec. 1, succeeding John D. Carter as president and chief executive officer, who will become chairman.
"I am honored to have the opportunity to lead our company and its experienced management team into a new era for our industry," Lundgren said.
Lundgren joined the company in September 2005 as executive vice president and chief strategy officer, became executive vice president of strategy and investments in April 2006 and was elected executive vice president and chief operating officer in November 2006.....
