Horsehead’s net down as zinc tags fall

A steep slide in zinc prices and weaker metal sales reined in third-quarter revenue and earnings for Horsehead Holding Corp., the parent company of Horsehead Corp.
The Pittsburgh-based zinc recycler said its net income sagged to $9.4 million during the quarter, down 61.1 percent from $24.2 million in the same period last year, on sales that fell 18.5 percent to $109.2 million from nearly $134 million.....
