Alexin’s billet casting site begins operation

Alexin LLC's $58-million aluminum billet casting facility in Bluffton, Ind., began commercial operations during the first week of November, the company said.
The 350,000-square-foot plant will eventually have the capacity to produce more than 210 million pounds of billet from scrap annually. Alexin will offer billet up to 16 inches in diameter with finished....
