Arca on growth path as net falls 18.7%

Appliance Recycling Centers of America Inc. (Arca) is on an expansion path despite posting an 18.7-percent drop in net income as sales rose 8.1 percent in the third quarter.
Minneapolis-based Arca plans to open a 24,920-square-foot ApplianceSmart Factory Outlet in Conyers, Ga., in January to serve the southeastern suburbs of the Atlanta metropolitan area.
The new factory outlet will be the company's sixth location in the Atlanta market and its 20th outlet nationwide. The other Atlanta outlets are located in Norcross, Smyrna, Lithia Springs and Stockbridge. The fifth will be located in Marietta.....
