EPA trims Jet Ocean’s cathode ray tube fine to $10,300

Electronics exporter Jet Ocean Technologies Inc. has been fined $10,300 for a shipment of discarded cathode ray tubes (CRTs) turned back by Hong Kong customs authorities, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said.
China bars most types of electronic scrap imports. The cargo had been mislabeled as mixed metal scrap, EPA said.....
