Auto-sheet blanker Shiloh cuts 20 jobs on low orders

Shiloh Industries Inc., a Valley City, Ohio-based manufacturer of first operation blanks, engineered welded blanks, complex stampings and modular assemblies for the automotive and heavy truck industries, laid off 20 employees Friday, according to local news reports.

This was on top of 23 layoffs in September, the Mansfield News Journal reported Monday.

Neither company executives nor members of the United Steelworkers union could be reached for comment on Tuesday.....
