CRT monitors, other e-scrap sales tags fall

Electronic scrap values continue to decline, with batches of computer monitors, some potentially reusable, fetching 3 cents a pound in a recent military auction, down 75 percent from an earlier 12 cents a pound.
One buyer placed winning bids of 4 cents a pound for cathode ray tube (CRT) monitors in Nevada and 2 cents a pound in South Carolina, putting the per-piece values at $98.56 and $50.31, respectively. Less than two months ago, that same buyer paid 13....
