Chrysler, German partner to produce axles

In a bit of good news for automotive suppliers, Chrysler LLC, Auburn Hills, Mich., and Germany's ZF Friedrichshafen AG have formed a new axle manufacturing alliance, the two companies said Tuesday.
The partnership will use Chrysler's new Marysville, Mich., axle plant to build three families of axles for improved fuel efficiency.....
