Murphy new Steel Caucus vice chair

Congressman Tim Murphy (R., Pa.) has been named vice chairman of the Steel Caucus executive committee for the 111th Congress, replacing Rep. Phil English (R., Pa.), who was unseated by Kathy Dahlkemper in the general election.
Murphy has been a member of the Congressional Steel Caucus since 2003 and has supported U.S. Steel Corp.'s Clairton Coke Works project to create energy-efficient coke batteries.
Murphy will assist committee chairman Rep. Pete Visclosky (D., Ind.), who has held the chairmanship for the past two years. "I'm looking forward to working with Visclosky," he said. "He has a great reputation for working on bipartisan resolutions."....
