Midwest scrap metals trader calls its quits

Metrade LLC, a Midwest copper and stainless steel scrap trader, is calling it quits and shutting down operations.
The company, based in Chesterfield, a small Missouri town west of St. Louis, has sent a letter to its suppliers saying it has been forced to close because of the loss of a key customer and the unwillingness of its secured lender to provide additional funds. The company didn't disclose the names....
