Metech backs BAN program after cost requirement nixedt

Metech International Inc. has endorsed the e-Stewards program of the Basel Action Network (BAN), an advocacy group on hazardous waste that has begun work on a certification program for processors of defunct electronic equipment.
Metech's involvement in such explicit standards is "the natural next step in providing customers with the added assurance that their materials are handled, recycled and disposed of in a legal and environmentally friendly manner," the....
