Schnitzer facing lawsuit over storm-water run-off

A Pacific Northwest environmental group has its sights set on Schnitzer Steel Industries Inc., saying it plans to file a lawsuit against the company over storm-water run-off from the scrap metal exporter's yard in Portland, Ore.
The Northwest Environmental Defense Center (NEDC) has told Portland-based Schnitzer that its plans to file a federal Clean Water Act citizen suit against the company because the storm water that washes over piles of scrap metals at the yard dumps pollutants into the nearby Williamette River.....
