US scrap export value slips 37% since July peak

U.S. scrap exports were down significantly in October, but not spectacularly in terms of value.

October's $1.29 billion in exports were down 13 percent from the previous month and 37 percent from the peak month of July but still exceeded October 2007 by 11 percent. July was the only month ever recorded in which scrap....
