Precision Parts International files for bankruptcy protection

Precision Parts International LLC, a manufacturer of high-precision metal components, announced Friday it has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The Rochester Hills, Mich.-based company, which designs and produces specialized parts for the automotive, aviation, and industrial industries, said it had been unsuccessful in its attempts to sell assets....
