In a ‘prudent’ move, DNSC shifts sales to prepaid basis

The Defense National Stockpile Center (DNSC) has temporarily suspended payment terms on all active solicitations, saying it will only award contracts on a prepaid basis.
"We're operating in a prudent and fiscally sound manner," Sheryl Diester, DNSC's director, said. "It's no reflection on the creditworthiness of the buyers and it's not meant to imply we've encountered any problems. We're just tightening up like elsewhere in....
