Ontario scrap industry exec Chester Waxman dies at 82

Chester Waxman, an Ontario scrap executive and philanthropist whose 40-year partnership with his brother was followed by 20 years of litigation between the two, died on Saturday. He was 82.

An Ontario Supreme Court ruling eventually held that Waxman's older brother, Morris, was forced out of the family companies unfairly. To settle the resulting financial claim, the assets of I. Waxman & Sons were sold last year to American Iron & Metal Co.....
