OM Holdings cuts manganese output 30%

OM Holdings Ltd. is cutting manganese ore production at its Bootu Creek Mine in Australia's Northern Territory by nearly 30 percent next year in response to the weaker market and "the absence of a transactable market price."
Singapore-based OM said Monday will cut production to 500,000 tonnes next year from 690,000 tonnes this year, but will ramp up production to 700,000 tonnes per year once market conditions improve. ....
